Hi,
I would love to be Research Assistant or Contributor. I've went through major drama with my hair a few times. It was due to pregnancy, heat, chemical, or stress damage, I taught myself what to do to get it back healthy again. I'm also a Mary Kay Independent Beauty consultant and love skin care. I have severe oily skin and seborrheic dermatitis(similar to psorasis). Therefore between taming my overly itchy scalp and my oily skin and breakouts, I had to find a regimen that was specific to my needs. I think that I would be a great asset to HT, I have hands on experience with certain hair and skin situations and I have done a lot of research to learn about different types of skin and hair.
Thank you,
Shawnta'

Macherie, I am a big fan of your hair advice, even though I am not black- I am white but I have very fine damage prone hair from chemical overprocessing. I've been trying for what seems like my whole life to grow my hair long and damage is always what gets in the way- your advice on pre-pooing, shampooing, and even product reviews are great for anyone whose hair needs extra care. I wish you the best with everything and its great to see how your popularity is growing and web-prescence expanding.

Good evening Macherie,
I am very interested in editing or researching for HT. I am completing my degree in Communications and this would be a great way to hone my editing/researching skills. Working full time leaves me with little to no room for an internship. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

Macherie,
I would like to put my name in the pot for editor. I have a BA in English and am currently working towards my MBA. I have worked in the legal field for the past 10 years as a legal assistant/paralegal. This position requires careful attention to detail and a strong grasp of the English language. I posses excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and would appreciate the opportunity to lend my skills and knowledge to the new HT site. Additionally, I am a member of the site and have benefited greatly from the knowledge of you and its members. Your consideration would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Dear Macherieamour,
I am a member of Healthy Textures and have been following your work for over a year. I am interested in the position of an Editor and/or Research Assistant. I have over two years winning grant proposals. I find researching and editing information specifically for African American hair care fascinating. I asked myself, why not combine my passion for writing and researching and love for hair care? Together they makes a fantastic combination!
Thanks,
Jeannette
