He helps fund my healthy hair goals because he enjoys seeing the results and how happy it makes me :)

My SO has long hair he wears in cornrows so he understands and doesn't mind the BSS trips. He even recommended an oil sheen! And I suggested he stop using Pink Oil. We talk about haircare, but not to the extent like I can with a fellow HT'er..I let me him keep his manhood! LOL

MY SO JOKES AND EXAGGERATES TO PEOPLE ABOUT HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR ME TO DO MY HAIR, BUT OVERALL, HE'S SUPPORTIVE , AND A LITTLE CONFUSED. HE'LL START UNDERSTANDING WHEN I HIT APL NEXT YEAR, LOL.

My SO...he's none of the above...He's just a bit curious. He knows about my hair day. One time he asked me what I do, and I gave him a quick summary so that he wouldn't be confused. But he asks if I've gone thru all my "procedures" (as he likes to call them) for the day.

I'm not exactly sure how my husband feels about it! I do know that he just looks at me crazy when I microwave a wet towel to wrap around my head to dc. *L* He's just happy that I am doing my hair again. I went through a long period where I just wore my hair pinned back and didn't bother with it. He's waiting for me to start coloring it auburn again.*L*

my husband always want to try my 'fancy' products to wash his hair. he's supportive especially since i convinced him to buy a pibbs. he'd rather i fix my hair than to go to the salon and spend all day, $150, and leave him with two kids to watch!

My SO thinks I'm a product junkie. >_> He says "The first step of overcoming a problem is admitting it (I am not a product junkie I tell you..Really.)" But aside from that he's really encouraging, and always notices when I wear a new hairstyle. ^_^ I guess he's all for it because he finds long hair attractive. Lol.

Mach you know I could never keep a man! ::sighs::

My SO doesn't think I can reach my goal I feel. He still believes in the age old stereotype about black women and longer hair. I know I can grow my hair to WL regardless of what he thinks. I really don't care either.lol

He doesn't like the time and money it requires, but overall he enjoys the progress. He wonders why I make all these wonderful and healthy concoctions to put on my hair instead of eating. Every once in a while he'll tell me about how he enjoys my progress and encourages me to share my knowledge and skills with others.

It took him a minute to get into the whole idea of what I was doing and why I was on the computer with all these women I don't even know. But once he saw the results and figured out that I was really learning a lot, he jumped on board. He's really my biggest fan now and he encourages me to keep growing, even more so than I ever intended. He loves to try out my products and insists he needs his own stash. LOL He's gotten me a Pibbs and a steamer to help maintain my hair. I'm Blessed to have him.

My husband is soooo supportive. What's funny is that he'll give me compliments on how well I set my hair for example if I rolled it really neatly and tight. Then he'll set up my drying station and add a fan for cool air. Then, when I take the rollers out he wants to see it and run his fingers through it!!! He loves my hair and wants it to grow longer so he'll do whatever it takes! That's a direct quote ; )

My SO is supportive of my healthy hair obsession, he jokes about all the different things I do, but he definitely loves to smell my hair and run his hands through it.....and he even asked if he could wash my hair sometime.... :-)..we still have to negotiate the terms to that ;-) lol

At first my hubby thought I was putting roots on him, lol. All of my hair concoctions made him suspicious, but I put that to rest as he learned more about my passion for healthy hair. Now he asks me if I need any "pre-poo stuff" before he goes to the store. I's funny hearing him say "pre-poo", lol. I don't obsess over my hair or let it take priority over more important things like I did in the very beginning, because that just causes tension. So, now I don't spend all my time on HT or talk about it as much. He loves the dedication and interest that I have in my appearance (always have), but now he's enjoying how great it always looks and smells.

My hubbby totally thinks that i'm a product junkie queen and is confused about the whole thing, but says as long as i'm hapy then he's happy too!
Like the other SO's he totally loves the way my hair smells and feels..:)

My hubby, just a few days ago, asked me if I was making macaroni and cheese because I was doing a kitchen protien treatment (V05 condish, 2 eggs, a few drops of olive oil). ???? I guess the strawberries and cream conditioner turned a little orange when mixed with the eggs and EVOO? Otherwise he's uber suportive and as long as I don't make too many big purchases too often (that he knows of) then we're straight. Besides, if he ever complains, I tell him that being married is expensive.

My DH is supportive. He likes to run his fingers through my hair, smell that 'new hair' smell, and he is learning as well. I'm mad that he sneaks and uses my good brush though. We are experimenting with growth serum on his beard that he is trying to grow. He knows my goals that I am trying to reach and is supportive of it.

My SO is a little freaked out by my dedication and thinks I am a bit of a PJ, but he is supportive of whatever makes me happy because he recognizes that "if Mama ain't happy, ain't nodody happy".

My SO is so confused about this whole transitioning thing. I honestly dont think he gets it and to me its such a basic concept I cant understand why its so hard to grasp.

My bf is very supportive. he understands that I spend a great deal of time on my hair and never fales to tell me whether he likes a certain products or not. He knows the feel of my hair and mostly judges it by the feel and the scent, haha!
